beretta px4 storm "g" model

i was wondering what difference was between the "f" and "g" models. here is what the Beretta web site says about the px4 storm,

The Px4 Storm includes multiple trigger operating modes, which include our standard F model - double/single action; C model - constant action; D model - double action only; and the G model - double/single action with return to fire feature. All full size Px4 Storm Pistols feature a rotating barrel which makes for a low profile design with one of the strongest actions available. Also, you have a choice of three backstraps, three magazine release buttons, and two slide catch lever sizes.

does anyone know what the "return to fire feature" is?

F model means the decocker is a manual safety. When you push it down to decock it stays down.

The G model springs back up into the off safe position. Basically the G model is decoker only and does not act as a manual safety.

2ndamd is exactly correct. My wife has a PX4 Subcompact (sweet little gun, by the way) in the F version. She likes have the manual safety. I don't, so I always push it off when I carry it. So for me, it works exactly like the G version.

The G version is just the F version where the safety is automatically turned off after decocking.

You can also convert your F model to a G model with these Beretta Stealth Decockers. I did and its reall makes it nice and slim.

The Beretta 92 G did the same thing too, it was designed for the French Police and is sometimes called the 92 Gendarmerie.

These make the batwing levers flush and make it a G.
