What kind of quality difference is there between the Zeiss Victory Diavari 3-12x56
And conquest series' scopes. I have a conquest on my Winchester 223 but I have a chance to get the Zeiss Victory Diavari 3-12x56 and would mount it on my Browning 7 MM Mag.

I was told the glass and coatings are better, i don't know what else. It get's you better low light peformance...

When you reach a certain point in optics it takes a huge increase in price to get tiny increases in performance. The Conquest is already more scope than most people can use. The Diavari is better, but only marginally so, for a lot more money.

If you can afford the Diavari, and it is worth the difference to you then buy it and you'll have a great scope. Especially if you get a great price on one. That is how I ended up with an older version.

Not really a fair comparison, but I have an older Diavari made in the late 80's or early 90's I bought used 4-5 years ago. It is slightly, and I mean only slightly better than my Conquest, but it is a 20-25 year old scope compared to a much newer Conquest.

I wouldn't do it, primarily because if the issues of trying to mount and use a huge 56mm scope. But that is just me.
