a quick search of the internet brings up about a bazzilion sets of 1911 grip panels - but I'm hoping others can chime in and give me a hand narrowing down the results a bit.
Looking for a American made company/person that makes quality grips.
Not looking for anything uber fancy. Looking for simple design, quality wood, standard dimension, checkered rosewood, or a red hued coccobolo grip. It'll be going on the new Silverback.
I know I can just go out to midway and buy a cheap set -and if there are quality ones on there - let me know. But just looking for more knowledge than I have right now.
I see houge makes some, but I am unfamiliar with houge other than the rubber stuff. also found altamont grips
about the fanciest things I've seen that I like are these I saw on ebay.
