I just recently got into target rifle shooting and Im looking to get a pistol as well.(the addiction is taking over)
Im going with 9mm due to cost/availability of ammo, and a midsized frame for possible carry.
So im looking at the Taurus PT909 or PT911 in stainless steel.
They have a 1:9.84" twist rate. 115gr bullets seem to be the normal "bulk" ammo.
I cant seem to find info on what weights are good for what twist rates, so can anyone offer advice on what grain should be best, or a range of weights to stay in?
Edit: Just read a post that said 124gr was developed for 1:9.84" twist.
