Question about a Rifle trade for a Ruger No.3

So i have an offer to trade my Kel-Tec Su-16ca for a Ruger No3 in .223. Ruger is in solid shape and im not really using the SU-16 as of late. It kinda is just packed up for camping. Any info on Ruger No 3? Price on Gunbroker is hitting around 500-600, and i paid 300 for the Kel tec. Any Opinions?

The #3 is a plainer version of the #1. I am partial to the ergonomics of the Ruger falling block and mine are all quite accurate, but they can be hit-or-miss in the accuracy department. The Ruger will have a 1:12" twist rate and as such will be suitable for varmint-class bullets and not the heavier fodder.
