I recently bought a brand new Glock 19 as a companion to my P99 and the first thing I wanted to do was swap out the serrated trigger for a smooth faced one. I ordered it from topglock.com and when I went to install it, I noticed that the trigger bar didn't have any travel to it. I then checked the package and one of the stickers said it was for the Glock 20/21.
Holding them side-by-side, I can see that the bends are in different locations although their overall lengths are the same. When I emailed topglock support, the guy indicated that the 20/21 smooth faced trigger was an upgrade to the stock serrated one that came with my 19.
My question is, why do they have 4 different part numbers for triggers then? I just emailed them back and am waiting for a response, but figured I'd check to see if anyone here knew more. I admit that I'm a Glock newbie, but something doesn't seem right here.
I'm hoping the attachment works. I took a picture of the 2 trigger bars side-by-side. The one on the bottom came out of my 19, the one on the top (with the number stamp) is the one they sent to me.
