Yes, the AR would probably be first pick for most folks and really makes the most sense as you can do so much with it. (Swapping uppers from .204 Ruger to .50 Beowulf) is COOL.)
I might pick the Draco because I really do like Kalashnikovs and the Draco is a no-brainier easy conversion.
I cannot imagine a need for a handgun with a shoulder stock. The sights are wrong for the LOP, and I can shoot faster and more accurately, and much more flexibly with a handgun held as a handgun than with one with an odd appendage sticking off the back of it. A handgun stock is an arguably useful upgrade to make a machine pistol a little bit more useful. But that's not exactly a huge endorsement, and none at all for a semi-auto.
