I have a set that is cleaned up but missing the decapping part in die #1 They are older with 77 stamped in them.

I was hoping I could just deprime with a 40 auto die for example and resize with this #1 anyway or maybe even a 38/357 resizing die.
Just adding another step in the process.
I had an extra rod and insert for that hole in the top from another RCBS set but they are smaller in diameter since these were made.

Anyone know or maybe even have one?
I may try RCBS directly.
Thank you!

Let me look. I have some old partial sets packed away. I may have what you need.

No luck...I have a bunch of old rcbs seater in various calibers. Only old decappers I have are lyman. But yes, you can use decappers with another caliber set until you find what you need, they also sell single dies that you could pick up to remedy your situation. To go the other direction though, some folks like to run a universal decapper. What you do will be determined by how you load...in 9mm adding an extra step would stink on single stage, maybe not so bad on a turret or progressive if you have the space for another station.

I had my wallet out for this one. Called RCBS and asked to order the parts. No way .... They are sending these parts no charge.

OMG RCBS is the best! I'll ask to get this closed. Thanks for looking WK and the suggestion trackforever. Problem solved.
