Question about registering for eForm

I'm going to be e-filing a form 1 as a trust in the next couple weeks and I had a question about registering on the ATF's website. Does everyone put their real names/last 4 digits of their social security number when registering? Seems like this shouldn't be a requirement if filing as a trust.

Just curious, I know it's not really a big deal, but wondering if everyone just puts in a trustee's info.

I signed up with the electronic system was brand spanking new and the system assigned me first initial+last name+5 digits than mean nothing to me and appear to be random.

Ya it looks like it still assigns you a random username but it asks for your full name and last 4 digits of your SSN when filing out the form to get that username.

I never use my SSN on a 4473, so I understand exactly where your are coming from. In this case they also use a 3rd party credit card processor to handle the tax payment. I'd just do it. If for any reason they wanted your full SSN they could get it in a second from.
