Anyone here ever buy ammo from Reeds Ammunition & Research (http://www.reedsammo.com), besides me that is, and what was your experience with it?
And, for defensive load, would you go heavy, medium or light?
Essentially, Reed's has the 200grain Hornady XTP loaded to 1100fps 537 foot lbs of energy.
Or several other loads, down to a 155 grain, 1400fps, 675 ft. lbs XTP HP round.
I'm just trying to get some opinions on what makes the ultimate 10mm defensive load....assuming that such a thing might exist.
I know, there's also Double-Tap, but I got my conversion kit through Reed's, and Ron was quite helpful in getting me through a couple of rough spots. Although I'm sure I'll be trying out Double Tap's ammo offerings as well.
