Question for Glock 19 owners

Mine is Gen-3 and pretty close to the 7.28 length. That wouldn't be different on a Gen-4 gun. My G-26 is pretty close to the shorter measurement. Just using a tape measure for an approximate measurement. Just a SWAG, but I'd bet someone is confusing the 2 when posting info.
Actual measurement on my Gen4 19 is 6.85". That's from the leading edge of the barrel to the farthest edge of the grip at the hump. That's with no added grip adapter in place.
I suspect what you see on the Glock website is the maximum overall length if the largest (fattest?) of the grip adapters were to be in place.

I'm not sure what the website measurement is, but I appreciate your exact figure. Still undecided between the 19 and 26 though. I like the fact that I would have 5 more rounds with the 19, but like the size of the 26 for CC. And 10+1 isn't bad!

I have a Gen3 26 and a Gen4 19 and truthfully I prefer the 19 ... so does my wife. I have several magazines for the 19 so I got a couple of sleeves that essentially make the 26's grip the same length and feel as the 19 with the model 19 magazines. Not exactly the same but very close.
I bought a Lone Wolf stock size barrel for the model 19; this barrel also fits the 26. With the LW barrel in the 26 and with sleeved model 19 magazines, I essentially have another model 19. You can do the same with OEM Glock barrels if one wished to. When I choose to carry the 26 concealed, I go back to 100% stock configuration which I do for all carry situations.
When I got the LW barrel it was about $99; sleeves were $10 each and I already had plenty of model 19 magazines. I think the $125 or so was a good investment.

I love my 19. My only change is a smooth trigger and an extended slide release. I also use a grip plug.

Don't forget your 19 can use those 17 mags, including the 33er!
I had a SR9c that I carried briefly in a Crossbreed SuperTuck. Just couldn't make it work and went to a High Noon OWB. I hate to admit it but it is probably because of my "love handles" that I can't seem to make IWB work - but then that's a personal problemWhat holsters have you tried IWB carry with? An excellent gun belt and something like a Milt Sparks Versa Max-II holster really makes for a pretty comfortable rig. I have carried my G19 for the last couple of years in this set-up and love it.
