I disassembled my new P-01 this afternoon to give it a good cleaning, but mostly out of curiosity and to get familiarized with it. What a breeze it was. My questions to you are: Do you use a specialized gun grease for the rails or will just regular gun oil do (I use Hoppes Elite)? Also, have you had any problems with the grip screw-heads stripping? I took the grips off to clean the gunk out behind them, and while the screw-head slots didn't wear they look like they easily could. I tried using the little tool with the phillips head that came with it, but I didn't like it so I used my leatherman to take out the screws. It worked fine, but I just don't want to wear out the screw heads and eventually not be able to get them out. Are replacement grip screws readily available? Thanks for any info.

You can buy the CZ/TZ slotted grip screws from Brownell's.
They look much better than the standard grip screws.

A CZF member sells stainless grip screws.

Thanks guys, I almost titled the thread "questions for P-01 owners, I'm looking at you armoredman, CZF and Burningsquirrels". I just ordered the slotted grip screws from Brownells on a whim.

Hey armoredman, where do you buy your weapon shield? Midway is out of stock and backordered, I just read a bunch of reviews and sounds like everyone raves about it.

The CZ is no different than most other semi autos from a care perspective. I use Tetra Gun Grease on the rails of all my semi-autos including the CZ-75D (lightweight alloy framed compact) similar to the P-01 and my 75B. Its worked the 15 or so years I've had CZ's. Have carried the PCR since 2000.
