Insofar as the oddball backstrap is concerned, I am more intrigued with what it is rather than just selling it off to someone who is looking for a certain piece and not knowing anything more about it than I do, and then the buyer being disappointed with the purchase. I think I will do some more research and try to get a handle on what it really is, and maybe putting it on something like CAS City classifieds with pics with explanation as I posted earlier. Maybe some other folks will know and a light bulb will illuminate. If someone recognizes it and wants it, all the better.
You guys have been more than helpful and I'm just going to have to edumacate myself further.
