Sig made a limited number of 229s that were reverse two toned having a STAINLESS frame and a Nitron finished SS slide with front serations and both "faces" of the slide milled like an Equinox. Can anyone tell me when and how many of those were made? I found one and am trying to determine its value as well as rarity. It's probably the most beautiful Sig that I've seen and I have a number of them.

2007, not sure of the total number. I bought one new for right under $1000, and have a pre-owned on layaway that I paid a bit less for, about $895. (I would have gotten a better deal if paying for it outright.) This dealer is not known for low prices, but this version is a stocking dealer special, and not common.
