Question on SIG P238?

Hello, I just bought a SIG P238 and read through the manual, but can't find anything about using +P loaded ammo. It simply states on page 14; "Aways use ammunition that complies with the industry performance standards established by Sporting Arms and Ammunition Institute, Inc. (SAAMI) of the United States or ammunition manufactured to military specifications." So is +P .380 ammo like Buffalo bore meet SAAMI spec's. or not? Thanks in advance. LM

shooting +P loads through it, even if safe, would only compound it's low slide mass and short recoil spring tunnel length issues

There are post over on the SigForum where guys have fired buffalo bore and messed up the recoil spring in short order, can't recall certainly less than 25 rounds. That being said they then went with a 12# Wolff spring for the Colt version and it works though not something you would want to shoot often.
