Friend who is moving out of the country is selling a S&W .357 Mag stainless snubnose....has had less than 2 boxes factory ammo thru it.Wants $250.Only problem is....my other Wessons say Dan! I know nothing about these.Numbers on bottom of frame begin w/ BKP.I think he bought it 10-15 yrs. ago?!?
Biggest problem I see is small frame from hammer on back with tiny wood grips....way too small for me.
Before I make any deal, I wanted to ask the forum what model this is,and what grips would fit?
Approx. value?
Thanx!

Sounds like a Model 66. Any grip that says "K frame, round butt" will fit. You can get some big ones. $250 is a steal, if you didn't like it you could make a profit.

Thanx!
I'll start by looking @ rubber Hogue, which works well on my DW's.I had tried Google to find which model it was without success-(probably an operator problem.)

Open the cylinder and look on the left front of the frame and you should see the model number stamped there. It will be something like "MOD-XX" or "MOD-XX-X". That will let us know what size frame it is.

I got one and big hands to boot
loaded right you should like it
I've had mine 25yr + blue but looks stainless now
