Questions about ARs

Hello all,
When you convert a 223 AR to 9mm you can use the same sights. So can I put my detachable sights from my 223 AR to my .308 AR? I know the receiver is a little longer but once you get it dialed in it shouldn't matter right? Just wondering if 223 AR sights would not work on a 308. Tried to sell or trade my AR-10... now I'm just gonna shoot the hell out of it LOL.

Also are there any cool caliber conversions for the AR-10 like 9mm for 223 ARs? Like perhaps a 7.62 X 39?

The sights should mount up and work fine. But you WILL have to re-zero them. Even if you were just changing from one AR15 to another you would most likely still need to rezero the sights. There are just too many variables that effect POA/POI to be able to just swap sights between rifles. Once re-zeroed they should work just fine. If you have an A2 style rear the elevation marks wont quite match up. But, i havent noticed them to match up all that well anyways.
