I am planning on having an AR-10 built to my specifications and was wondering if anyone could suggest some top flight folding front and rear iron sights for it in place of the conventional carry handle and sight tower on ARs of yore. For the rear sight I strongly prefer an A2 style target sight with accurate yardage readings on the adjustment knob.
It is my understanding that the .223 Remington and .308 Winchester are close enough in trajectory that most any rear sight designed for the AR-15 could be used without a problem and that this is primarily a front sight issue. Specifically the height of the front sight. That said, I welcome any and all input.
