I'll be buying (or ordering) my first .204 in a few days. It'll be a Remington 700 with a 26" bull-barrel, and I'll be putting it on an H-S Precision or Bell & Carlson stock. That much is firm. Some questions I'd like to ask you about these guns are:
1) Do the VLS and the SPS Varmint, have the same action and barrel or not?
2) If there are differences in the action and barrel, what are they?
3) Are there other differences in these rifles aside from the stock?
4) Is the 1:12 twist fast enough to stabilize the heavier .204 rounds (40-45 grain)?
Thanks for your help.
