I have been eyeing a P30L for a while now, and while the ergonomics and balance and sight radius is suburb, I have not been able to confirm if it can be carried condition one. Disclaimer...I have owned and shot many .45's, they do not fit the bill, and, I am dissatisfied with the DA trigger on my SIG 226, as I view the first shot placement to be the most critical.

Not many of the L's floating around as of yet, have shot the P30 in DA/SA, sight radius was a little short but a DAMN fine weapon, and a couple of USP's, didn't much care for the grips.

So...anybody have a definitive answer...talked to the H&K dealer here in town, he said he THOUGHT it came with all the trigger variants of the P30, but had only seen the DA/SA and LEM triggers on the ones he had gotten in.

Thanks in advance!

You'd want the P30LS.

The P30S is a manual safety version of the P30 (like USPs) and is supposed to be out later this year. I presume they'll be making a P30LS also.

The P30's out now are meant to be carried decocked, so if you want the whole condition one "cocked and locked" deal you'll have to wait for HK to make it.

After discussing it with my dealer, and a number of phone calls, seems the P30LS model is currently only available to German police. *heavy sigh* Ya find a pistol that fits your hand out of the box, points like your finger and is superbly balanced, being Irish I should have known there would be a compromise in there somewhere...so I have ordered a P30L in DA/SA, will have a little trigger work done and wait for H&K to show a little love....
