Quick question about Hornady Lock-N-load.

The Lock-N-Load press and die conversion kit. Will these work with the RCBS Rockchucker? It looks like it will save a lot of time and trouble. Thanks, Rick

Yes, and yes. Some folks don't see a need for them, but after using my forster co-ax press with snap-in/out dies, screwing dies in and out of a press would be a pain.

Yes, the conversion kit installs fine on the Rockchucker. However, unfortunately, if you have an LnL as well, the distance from the ram at the top of its stroke to the bottom of the die isn't the same (no surprise there), so if you like to use the single-stage for load development and the progressive for production runs there's a bit more fiddling around required.

I use seperate sets of dies, some adjusted for the LNL P and some for the Rockchucker. Someday I'll get around to adjusting the height of the Rockchucker's press bushing so that I can use the same dies on both presses.
