So far the hunting shotguns have not been affected.

My FFL, North Texas Arms (AKA Salty1 here on THR), told me that the only things available in the distribution chain right now are hunting type bolt action rifles and hunting shotguns.

good idea to pick one up now. i am surprised the panic hasn't spread to other guns yet. the new 870 express shotguns aren't the prettiest pumps around, but mine have been reliable and function as advertised. best of luck finding one.

I think it will spread when noobs figure how versitile the shottie really is. You can buy 2 shotguns and about 2000 rounds of mixed ammo for the price of an AR with no ammo.
