Quick Wolf ammo question

What is the difference between regular black box Wolf ammo and Wolf Military Classic?

Well for me the millitary classic is FMJ and the black box is HP other than that I think there the same but i'm not a expert.

Made in two different plants. I've only fired the black box ammo in my SKS, and never had any problems.

I've shot the military classic out of my Bushmaster and it functions just fine.

They are made in different factories, the major difference is the type of bullet used. The wolf military classic is also slightly heavier at 124gr vs 122gr for wolf black box. Black box makes both fmj and hp, I know MC makes hp, but not sure about fmj. Wolf MC uses a sapsan bullet, I think it is called 8m3, which is supposed to perform much better with regards to terminal ballistics. As far as I can tell they both shoot the same as far as feeding and accuracy.

maybe it was the batches I had, but in the 7.62x39 The MC seemed more anemic to me when compared to the black box.

Last time I bought x39 the military classic was about $15 cheaper (per case, on sale) to boot.
I didn't notice any recoil difference.
