r15 price check

Im being offered a r15 with 40 rounds through it for 1099. Good deal right Is it good enough to work my tail off to make the money. I bought it if you read below you will find more info. I shoulda made a new post i suppose

If it is worth it to you then buy it. What model is it ? Flattop ? Barrel Length ? Second kind of cool. There is a VTR Predator on guns america for $1050 NIB. but the average price I would say is about $1250. I don't know that much about them.

Well save your money and give things until the end of the summer to settle down. Prices are going to come down in a hurry at some point. That is a decent rifle (it is made by Bushmaster for Remington). You could not give them away before the election though because of the paint job. They are decent rifle though if you are looking to get a varmint hunting AR.

Saw several at the Raleigh, NC gun show this weekend for $1250-1299.

alright guys i bought it. It looks like the one with bright camo here http://http://www.ableammo.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=9935_13987_14113&sort=3a&page=8 Only it has the longer barrel, flattop. Thinking i got a good deal. I bought it from a friend who worked at cabelas and got the discount when he bought it, which was before the election and he has to sell it for the price he bought it for. His wife made him sell it before he bought the kimber he wants. Now im broke and without scope which is really sad as i cant shoot it

honestly depends on your location. I can go into any of my favorite gun shops that are within an hour and buy AR's from $600 up to $3500.

Cheapest is to buy a lower and then build one. before things got crazy I bought my S&W ar, 5 30rd mags with green follower, a 20rd mag with metal follower, long range scope, and other bells and whistles for less than $1200. But that was when 5.56 was $60 per 100 from cabelas.
