R700 ADL-BDL conversion

if i'm not mistaken, all i need is a long action (i have a .270win.) BDL stock, mag. and trigger guard w/ floorplate... i want a good rifle stock that isn't more than about $150 and perferably laminated wood... any suggestions

I called remington last week an order parts to convert mine to a bdl. Cost me around $120 Check out stocky stocks for the new stock. Brownells also sells a kit from H&S to convert to a detachable box mag.

I recently installed a detach mag kit from Badger Ordinance on a 700.. Sweet.

Almost a straight drop in, required minimal fitting, hand work with a small flat and a round file.... Currently on sale at Midway with the 5 shot mag.. 10 shots appear to be on back order.. Mine was into a Rem composite stock.
