White Tail Sniper

The White Tail Sniper is our latest model that provides the cast bullet shooter with the extra leverage needed to seat custom rounds. The new features include two sets of plunders, one convex, for the round balls, and one flat nose plunger for custom bullets and tool caddy. Also included is a plunger depth stop for precision bullet seating and the brass Colt ring.

An added new feature is the swing arm cylinder pin. Do to the two peace plunger arm of twelve inches, the swing arm allows greater plunger seating forces provided by the increased length. The cylinder rests on the swing arm over the cylinder pin. The chamber of the cylinder can then be easily aligned under the plunger.

They do look nice. Anyone use any of them? I like the small one, would fit in my shooting box nicely.

I think the design is brand new and the one you see is the prototype. I understand the production ones will be painted.

I bought the smaller one (Plainsman) when he had them on eBay for $49.95. I mounted mine on a wooden board for stability, added six inches to the charging handle, and used two bulldog clips as a "tool caddy". I also used a cut-down golf grip on the charging handle instead of the original round ball.

Mine works like a champ; and I have not found the lack of a cylinder locating pin to be a problem at all. Mine fits easily into my range box.

The one feature I like that my D/D doesn't have, is the plunger depth stop. Don't get me wrong...the D/D has been the best one out there and I have no real issues with it.

The White Tail Sniper seems to add some of the features that I liked about the D/D. One is the cylinder pin locater.

As soon as I hear from RAI, I'll order one and give you all a review.

I have an original RAI.. The handle is too short and it needs a depth stop. Guess they fixed those two problems. I'll be contacting them about an upgrade.
