I am just finishing my first AR build. It is also my first AR period. And it is nearly the only AR I've ever handled. And 6 weeks ago I knew nothing about an AR. Of coarse it's going to be the finest AR every to hit the range. 
But I have found everything I need to get it running except.....a darn 2 inch section of JP rail. Part # JPTR-S which is a two piece wedge type rail made to fit in the vents rather than the pre-drilled section of the hand guard. Question is, are these sandwich type rails a standard in the industry? or is this rail propriety for this hand guard? This 2 inch rail will be the only rail on the hand guard at all but I really need it.
