I've got a quick question about AR-15 gas blocks with rails on the top of them (most claim to be weaver rails). Are they all usually the same height? Is there some standardized height that everyone uses for railed gas blocks, or do they often vary from manufacturer to manufacturer?
I'm just curious because I recently bought a 16" RRA upper with a weaver gas block on the front and I'd like to throw on a flip-up iron sight. I'm interested in the GG&G flip-up front sight for dovetailed gas blocks (GGG-1023) but I can't help but wonder if the height of my gas block will jive this particular sight or any others for that matter.
