I drove 115 miles up to CZ-Connection North of Atlanta on Friday to handle the RAMI. I took cash money with me.... They had ONE left..... I came home with the cash.
It's not that I didn't LIKE it, I just didn't LOVE it. I almost bought it, and then after I left, I turned around once to go back and buy it, but then turned around again and went 115 miles back home.
They had a Kahr K40 in the case that they let me compare it side by side to. As I suspected, there was very little difference in the grip width, and nearly no difference in the slide. It also felt lighter. The RAMI grip was shorter, and I just don't like "pinkie swingers".
I just really like the way that the Kahr K-series feels in my hand, so I guess I'll just have to wait until somebody makes a TDA pistol that feels like that.
Who knows though... if they go over well here (and they should) maybe they'll offer decocker models, or ambi models, THEN I'll probably give in and buy one. Who knows, I may do it anyway
That's a LONG drive though.
