Ramshot load data lists extemely long OAL

Just worked up a load working all the way up to max in 9mm using Ramshot Shillouette. The bullets were Speer 124 grain GDHP the minimum OAL is 1.169! The rounds loaded to max load were not strong enough to cycle the slide on my M&P. You folks recommned a better seating depth?

unless there's a typo in your Ramshot Manual.

I just checked the 4.3b PDF manual--which, I think, is the latest--and the spec for that case bullet is 1.169, not 1.69....

Thanks for the correction I meant 1.169 all along, which is pretty long.

My Speer Manual recommends a COAL of 1.120 for the 124 grain GDHP. But I found best accuracy and function at 1.140 - 1.150 with 124 grain Gold Dot thru my 9mm pistols.

Speer #13 shows a MAX O.A.L. for 9MM of 1.168.

1.169 is NOT a load to length, but max.

As Runningman posted, Speer #13 show shows an O.A.L. of 1.200 for both 9MM bullets it lists, a JSP, and a JHP.

Thanks Walkalong, I thought the Ramshot version 4.3 was stating the minimum OAL not max.
