Part 1.
Well MO got CCW, and hopefully i'll have a PA license soon. How tough is a 92FS to carry? I know the thing is huge, but its the only big caliber handgun i got. For pocket carry i have a p32, but i'd like to have more if possible. Messing around putting it in my jeans seems like an IWB at 4oclock would be fairly doable, even with jeans and a t-shirt. Any suggestions?

And part 2 (more in line with this forum).
I'm thinking about converting it to get rid of the decock, or at least try to lighten up the DA pull. Cocked and locked sounds better than a DA first pull. I think skunk posted the info somewhere awhile back, but i dont have it. Anyone done this, any specifics on operation, part needed, etc? Are there any problems having the hammer cocked all the time (like hammer spring issues)? I also remember discussion on a lighter spring from a DAO model that lightened up the pull at least, if i didnt go the first route. Any thoughts?

Dont have the money, things are going to be quite a compromise for awhile. For example, i have a p32 and a 92fs, nothing in between, cant buy anything else. I luckily sent my PA permit application out for $20, or i wouldnt be able to even afford any other carry permit. Now i'm looking at a bodyguard IWB holster because its only $20, not 60 or 100.

Short version, i dont have any money. ;)

Edit: Thanks for the response though. I've pretty much decided to try and make this work since there seems to be a lot of people on berettaforums that carry them. Pretty much looking for holster suggestions (cheap) and info about the C&L conversion.

1. Oh yeah. I've been carrying my Vertec @ 1:00 IWB for two years.

2. You'll need a D model spacer from LTT or BUSA. It will allow you to carry with the hammer cocked and the safety on. Do a search on "D model spacer" and it should bring up what you need to know.

Hmmm after reading some threads i'm debating between C&L or stock, hammer down, saftey off. The DA/SA transition sucks, but i dont know if i'd feel comfortable with it C&L. The safety doesnt seem like it takes that much to disengage. If i carry it IWB agaisnt my body..not sure how well that safety would behave :uhoh:.

Working the safety with my thumb it seems pretty easy, but pressing it and moving it around on random body parts it only came off safe once, and i had to really dig it in. ARG, i dunno.

GRRR!! :cuss: dialup!

1. I IWB at 3:30-5:30 (I'm small) because it bulges at my 3:00 which is the fastest position, but even the little P7 will. I'm the most comfortable and confident with the 92 even downloaded to 10 round mags :banghead:

2. Get the D-spring before you mess with the spacer....
