Range Bag?

I use an Dell old lap top travel case. Solid construction, a ton of compartments for mags, and loose bullets, a padded area I put my pistols in. The big plus is three separate zippered sections to keep stuff from banging together.

I use a small duffle bag, though I am considering moving up to a medium duffle bag. Guns are usually in a couple of cases.

I have one from Bagmaster now - it is really nice with lots of padding, magazine slots and zippered compartments. But for years I used a canvas 'messenger bag' with a thick shoulder strap. Kind of like a Laptop bag but cheaper and it just fine. I bought it at an Army Surplus store.

I know this thread has already found its answer in the wheelie-bag...

I went through this a year ago, initially looking at the "cool" gear from Dillon and 5.11. I didn't want to shell out $75 or more for what amounted to a glorified book bag. I ended up going to my local Target store and found a soft sided fishing tackle box. I've got pockets for fired brass to keep it separate from the main compartment. I can fit about 300 rounds of .308 in the thing (more than I would choose to carry), or about 900 rounds of .45acp.

The typical loadout I put in it is 50-100 rounds of handgun ammo and 50-100 rounds of rifle ammo, one handgun, a bore snake for each caliber I shoot, eye protection and ear protection. Most of the time I can fit my targets in the bag too.

I think it cost me $10, IIRC.
