Did a ladder load from 7.7 to 8.5 at .2 per step. All loads were fine, I think I'm going with the 8.5 load, seemed fine. No big fireball out of BE-86, was easy to meter. Very happy with the load.

Loaded Unique in the 44 spl, load 5.8 to 6.2 in .1 increments. I liked the 6.2, but since it's for my wife, I'll load the 5.8. She fired some full metal jacket hollow point factory loads and wasn't happy with them. So I think she'll like the lighter loads.

Thanks for info. I have loaded 44 mag with BE-86 using 240 gr. Nosler JSP but my loads are on the higher end of powder weight. I used CCI 300 primers with 10.9 grs and 11.2 grs I liked the results very good groups and felt like a good med to hot 44 mag load. Alliant lists 11.6 grs as max for jacketed loads . Your loads are on the low end glad to hear you had good luck with these lighter loads. I will have to try the lighter loads with my MBC 240 gr LSWC bullets.Alliant doesn't offer much data for 44 mag I hope to see more loads in the near future .

I forgot to mention I was using winchester large pistol primers. I will move my load up when I use The xtreme copper plated 240 grain bullets.
