Check all the brass before reloading. If it not usable, then work on building up a bucket's worth to take to the recycler. Thars gold in that thar brass.
About $0.85/lb. Fill up a 5-gallon bucket and you've got a nice amount of money from the recycler. Of course, using this brass for its intended use (if possible) is far more valuable.
I always grab whatever ammo that I can, I know eventually it is going to get old. but when I get it home I do a visual inspection, any hair-line cracks or anything that doesn't look right, and it goes to the garbage. now I only use these for plinking, serious ammo gets brand new brass.
