Lookee Missuramoss , your alias just got a new nickname , " The MoMan "
..
Of course your right about the quality time thing , but that's kinda a forgone conclusion here that we'll be having that already reguardless of what were doing , Gun Range , eating lunch , fishing , watching Talledaga NASCAR Racing together today too , NHRA tonight , then PBR bull riding , yeehhaaaaa
.
It aint like he is gonna remember any of this eventually you know ?
Hell , he don't give a rip what we shoot as long as we shoot
. He is kinda child like Missuramoss now ? Odd to see such a brilliant jet avionic guy lose his marbles like this . But he seams very content and happy and is fully aware of his Alzheimers . Very weird ?
This BP forum never gets enough actual Range in prgress smoke and fire pictures , so figure I will try my hardest to get some with a few guns at least this week , and try to take out some of my ODD guns , or special ones to do it with so folks that only have one gun or have never fired a BP revolver can get some sort of appreciation of what is available , so they can get hooked on them and maybe even the HOLY BLACK
.
I am kinda one of them funny folks that enjoys cleaning them for the most part , within reason , so taking a few revolvers is not out of the question
.
Were shooting the 1911's too to mix it up a bit , plus I like to stay current accurate for my carry caliber guns
. I was halfway considering loading some .45 ACP with BP just for shock factor for his first round , but with the circumstances at hand now I doubt scramblin his mind is a good idea
. Ten years ago I wouldn't hesitate messin with him
......I think squeazin off a BP .45 ACP round out my LongSlide Springfield Loaded would be hillarious nonetheless
..Can you imagine what all the Glock ( Combat Tupperware ) shooters there at the range would think of that going off ? Hee hee hee
........
Well , hopefully it's raining and damp so the BP smoke lingers in the air , makes for great-er photos
, especially of the Dragoons fire bletch
.
He brought me my hand carved Sam Yang .45 caliber air rifle custom stock back with him from Alabama I sent him to do his work on , he's had it for 9 months ! Will have to get some photos of that soon for ya to look at . Hard to see a Master Gunsmith go the way of Alzhiemers , but at least I have some of his work to remember him by now . Ever seen anyone do Bascketweave and Old School scroll into a gunstock MoMan with an air engraver ? Pure freekin genious talent there . A true Master .
Well , time to get busy , lots to do , gotta make the most of my days right now while he's here . Me and the Gal went over to the Butchers last night on the way to go buy some more .45 ACP at our favorite gunshop , and bought some 1-1/2" New York cut ELK steaks to grill up over Apple Wood tonight after the Talledaga Race with him , wrapped in real corn fed bacon , with sauteed Portabella Shrooms in Galric and Cabernet Savignon with real butter and olive oil , and fresh Asperagus , yawzaaaaaaa , do we eat good or what ! Ok , wipe drool off your mouth , and I will do same
..Cheers
