My new gun I just got is feels great but only has one mag. All my searches showed it took the standard double stack mags any FS does, however it turns out In 1992 they made a few that use a single stack 8 round Compact L type M magazine and to make it even rougher to find a mag, this one has a mag w/out a mag disconnect so I would have to alter the notch on the ones I have found. Anybody have any info on where I can get a couple or more mags ? Would appreciate any and all help.

CDNN for sure. They have a very broad array of magazines, they usually have a lot of oddball magazines, and they usually have the best prices out there.

Otherwise anyone with the full line of Mec-Gar mags (maybe you could even order direct from Mec-Gar) should be able to set you up. Mec-Gar is the only aftermarket manufacturer I'd consider at least as good as factory. They even supply factory magazines for a huge number of companies, including CZ.

Beretta compact type 'M' magazines are kind of hard to find, and are currently running around $50 each when you do find them for sale.
I'd go over here...

and hang out on the for sale forum, they do come around from time to time.
You could place a WTB ad and scare up a couple, as well.
Good luck, the type M is a super gun, you'll love it.
