RCBS AR Tactical Reloading Kit

$550 for the package. Too bad it doesn't include RCBS's new Summit Press instead, or a Rock Chucker......I don't care for Aluminum presses...personal thing. The rest of it is all quality.

I'd add up all the pieces bought at Grafs with their one single $7.00 shipping charge for all of it, and see how it compares. Maybe it would be similar in price if you substitute a Lee Classic Cast for the RS press.

The only thing it's missing is a case trimmer and a case prep center. Save up another $400 and buy the new Universal when it hits the shelves.

I have the RCBS Reloader Special 5 press and like it for resizing/depriming pistol cases - especially how it neatly collects the spent primers in the black cup.

Yes, Rock Chucker Supreme would have been nice to have in the kit but RS5 will handle the resizing duty of commercial/military .223/5.56 cases.

I guess you could always sell the RS5 press and buy the press of your choice.

In the current shortage conditions, you could sell the 3 other die sets you may not need and easily make enough to trade/buy another press!

You could buy this kit from Midway http://www.midwayusa.com/product/937051/rcbs-rock-chucker-supreme-master-single-stage-press-kit , add another loading block, a pocket swaging tool, and AR series dies, and have essentially the same kit but with what most people would argue is a better press. But not all of that stuff is in stock at Midway and Midway's shipping would be much higher. It would probably be easiest to buy the Natchez kit, sell the press, and buy a Rock Chucker.

I don't care for Aluminum presses...personal thing.

I wasn't aware that the RL5 was aluminum until this post. Hmm. You learn something new every day.
I agree BTW. We have a Lee Challenger we've upgraded to the Breechlock linkage and don't like it nearly as much as the RCBS cast iron press we have.
