Been using the RCBS bench primer tool for a year or two. Today I loaded up a tube with S&B SPP and started to prime some 9mm cases. Three or four cases into the process and the tool sends a primer shooting across the bench. It looks like the tube is catching on the primer; as the mechanism moves the supply tube out of the way the tube catches on the primer and flips it out of the primer cup. Have any insight into why this is happening?
Thanks! Frustrated in Santa Cruz.

I'm not familiar with the RCBS bench primer, I have their universal hand primer that works great. However, if you are not familiar, some 9mm cases have crimpped primer pockets that need to be swagged and or chamfered in order to allow smooth primer insertion.
