By no means is this a complaint about RCBS, I'm just sharing important info if you need out of warranty service. ChargeMasters come with a one year warranty. My beloved ChargeMaster Combo broke after about 7 years of great service and I sent it in.
Until a few months ago, RCBS replaced broken out of warranty ChargeMaster Combinations with reconditioned units for a flat rate of $48. RCBS did not repair the units customers sent in, they just replaced them.
According to a technician who took my call, they no longer have access to reconditioned units and the $48 replacement program is now gone.
You can choose to replace a broken Combo for $200 or one of the two components - the scale, or the dispenser for $150 each.
