I used a lube die to process about 2,000 pcs of .223 brass today. This was my first time using it, and it seemed that after about 100-150 pcs of brass, it was leaving less lube than I wanted on the cases, so I gave it a good squirt of RCBS lube through the hole. After that, the first 10 or so cases were too wet, but after that, I felt there was just the right amount of lube on the way up the sizing die.
I'm just wondering if this is consistent with others' experience in using this die.
