RCBS Powder Measure

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking at purchasing a new powder measure, the RCBS powder measure with the small cyclinder and smal micrometer adjuctment screw. How does this powder measure work with powders like bulleye or unique?

I was also thinking about getting the •Small Micrometer Adjustment Screw (Item# 322-221) for it. Does this work good? I would be using it for 3 calibers (38 spl, 9mm and 45acp).

If you have any info on this powder measure and would like to share please do. It will help me make my choice. Thank you.

My RCBS Measure

:banghead:I bought my measure around 1981.I was weighing every charge for a short time and when I got enough bucks to buy a measure,I bought the one I still use. It at that time came with both the large and small setups. I leave the small micrometer in all of the time.It weighs Bullseye very good and Unique is good too.The only problem I have is with coarse stick powder like IMR 4064 and IMR 4350.It shaves the coarse grains.I periodically disassemble it and wipe it down with rubbing alcohol and let it dry good. I never leave any powder in it.I empty it as soon as I am done.I load mainly pistol powders.It handles them all top notch.

After 13 years with the RCBS Uniflow powder measure, I would not have anything else, because I am used to it.

It is crunchy with long stick powder, but still accurate.

Like the other's^^^^ have said some rifle powder's are a little crunchy, but most pistol powder's are very smooth and accurate. Especially Accurate powder's. Just weighed out 70 round's for 10mm tonight and weighed every 10th one. Identical. Not even a tenth difference. That was with AA No.7. I love mine and i would recomend it to anyone.

I have two Uniflow measures and they will throw as uniform a charge as my $300 Harrell Premium Culver measure.
