RCBS primer pocket swager

What is metal cup with hole used for? I bought the set,but it has no directions.Any other suggestions?

The cup goes between the swager and the brass so when you lower the ram on your press it will pop the brass off the swager. hope this helps Larry

This morning it was 38 degrees HOT.I retired early from Owens-Illinois,Lakeland,Fl.Worked at the Huntington plant back in 69.Moved here in 1-71.Are you in the Charleston area?

We are a little closer to Beckley than Charleston. I remember well though the glass plant in Charleston.
