Well, I'm happy to say that with this 1st Pro 2000 video live on www.ultimatereloader.com, I now have HD videos covering *all* 4 5 station progressive reloladers in common use! Many more to come as well!

Here's the link:

The RCBS Pro 2000 is a very high quality rig, being the only progressive to offer cast-iron construction. In this video I demonstrate loading 45 ACP with an RCBS 3 die set.

Ever wonder what it's like to use a Pro 2000? Ever wonder how the APS system works, and how the APS strip loader is to use? Well this video will answer those questions.

Here's the station breakdown:
1. Size/deprime
2. Expander
3. Powder charge
4. <not used>
5. Seat/crimp

And here's some screenshots from the video playing back:

What's next? More calibers, more die setups, and how about the RCBS bullet feeder on the RCBS Pro 2000? We'll get to all of that.

Happy new year!

I really like what you're doing by presenting well-shot video, showing someone who is obviously competent, and working in a clean, well organized area. This is REALLY good for our hobby.

I wish you every success.

Excellent video, thanks for a detailed look at the RCBS pro 2000 progressive.

Is there a case feeder available? Looks like it would really be in the way with the counter-clockwise rotation. It would be in front so you couldn't see the other operations.

I always thought the APS primer strips were a solution to a non existent problem. Not knowing the strips were loaded 25 at a time and the high visibility of just when you're about to run out, makes them a winner. Plus, there's no chance of a chain fire of a tube of 100 primers like in the dillon,(and others).

Keep up the good work, looking forward to rifle loading.

Which unit is your top pick? It's so rare to here from people who can actually compare so many products.

Very nice video. It really shows the ergonomics of using the press. RCBS makes great stuff. I am sure it works very well.

Your videos are a great service to folks looking at investing money in a progressive. The presses are not cheap, and folks agonize over which one to buy. These videos would have been a huge help to me back in the day. AC

Boy your press is so clean and new.

I have over a quarter million rounds done out of mine and it does not look like that anymore. I do agree it is a good press but I wish RCBS had made it a 7 or 9 station press. 5 slots is too limiting.

Excellent video for a great press. I have one and am very happy on the ease of use and reliability. When something gets messed up during loading, 99% of the time its me not the press that screws up.
