I recently let a piece of Berdan primed brass sneak in while resizing and broke my decapping pin and bent the resizing rod on my RCBS small base dies.

i looked on the web and i couldn't find a part number or anywhere that was selling what i was certain was the correct pieces for my dies.

i emailed RCBS customer service to see if they could tell me where to get the part numbers because i screwed it up and broke my die trying to decap berdan primed brass

I received a response on the same day stating they were shipping me a replacement part free of charge. one week later i checked the mailbox and there was a parts set for my dies.

thanks to RCBS. i have heard that most reloading companies have similar customer service, but i have been fortunate (so far) that i have not broken much of anything

I can't say enough good about RCBS' customer service.

A while back I somehow misplaced part of the large primer plunger assembly for my bench-mounted priming tool, and I shot an e-mail to them asking for the cost of a replacement... they sent me BOTH large and small assemblies, free of charge.

Real good folks there.

I was given a uniflow last week that had the receipt in the box. Bought 1975 for $23. Didn't have the mounting plate gizmo. I called rcbs and asked where I could buy one and they got my address and dropped one in the mail to me. Also told me how to disassemble and clean it without even being asked. Getting past atk over to an rcbs guy was a little of a hassle, but rcbs was great.

When it comes to customer service they are the "green" Dillon.

Simple advice for reloading equipment: Single stage, go green (RCBS or Redding, if you can afford it) Progressive, go blue (Dillon).

I have had the same great customer service from RCBS also. I went Green single stage and also GREEN on Progressive ( RCBS PRO 2000, I have owned Dillons 550B and a XL650 in the past). Both companies have great CS and have used both for replacement parts at no cost to me, you can't go wrong with either company.
