Every time I go to the range I try to think of a new idea or target for my friends and me to shoot at. We generally are shooting while moving, using ballons for shotguns and human silhouette targets for rifles. There are multiple targets set up and we see who gets the better score.
Next time we go I want to use a different set up. I read on previous threads about people using paintballs on golf tees. That got me thinking. What if I cut out a cardboard human silhouette target and over the head and center chest attach paintballs with glue and then either multiple stacks of newspaper stapled down over it or some other cheap material to hold the paintballs in place. The glue is there to keep them from shifting while attaching the newspaper cover. Pretty cheap to make and replace. To make the paintball effect more likely and colorful I was thinking of double stacking the paintballs pyramid style, but only two rows high so that there would be no gaps between them for the bullet to pass through without a result.
Have you guys ever tried anything like this? Or have any suggestions on how to do this easier or something entirely different?
The good thing about paintballs are they are pretty much made up of soap so they will wash away when it rains (and I plan on picking up the outter shell).
Thanks.
