Another thread is active about "Unintended Consequences" and "Enemies foreign and domestic" and I though that if you guys liked those books you should consider reading "Send in the WACO Killers" next by Vin Suprynowicz.

I am about 1/4 way through it and this book is not a novel. Its a collection of essays on freedom and liberty. Be prepared to get hot mad. Its a good read and is clearly setting forth the problems and how we got here. I enjoyed UC and EFaD but they are fiction, and it is nice to get more facts and this book delivers.

BOOK VERY GUN RELATED.

I have the book. I’ve flipped through it on occasion.

There's good stuff in there, to be sure. But to be honest, I get easily bored with talk of gun rights. I think it's because I already know I have a right to keep and bear arms. Why do I need to read a book I already agree with? In other words, he's "preaching to the choir" when I read the book. I think the book would be much more suited for someone sitting on the fence when it comes to gun rights.

Just picture the Patriot Act in the hands of the Clintons and Reno.

2008 will bring just that.

President Billary Klinton

Better buy now, 'cause when Hillary gets in, the '94 ban will look like a permit.

Shakes Reno is gone, but Chucky Schumer is going to be in the mix you can bet. All the PRK jesters and clowns too. Who's going to beat her ? Giuliani ? Fat chance.

By that time, Gulf II will be done and the wolf will be guarding the sheep.

A dark time is coming my friends, and I don't mean the Art Bell kind.

Not to worry- Hildabeast is unelectable- this country is not ready for even a well qualified female as CIC let alone one of Hillary's ilk and associated baggage- of course this assumes that the Repubs run anyone even remotely approaching normal-

I'm getting a sick feeling that our "choice" in 2008 will be between Hellary Klinton and John McCainiac.

Either way, it's going to be anti gun rights, and pro open borders.

Some choice.

My favorite quote from Send in the Waco Killers gives Vin's (and my) opinion on re-legalizing drugs:
This does not mean that "Marijuana should be available by prescription." It means that morphine sulfate should be available in five pound bags at the supermarket for a couple of bucks, like sugar... but probably in a different aisle, to avoid confusion.
