Real sweet little revolver

Just picked up this little gem from layaway.

It's a Model 36 3" RB. Near mint condition with original box.

I'm pretty happy to have scored it.

Nice score. I have a little Charter Arms .357 Target Bulldog that I think pretty highly of given how little I spent on the thing. However, seeing that deep, smooth, and consistent bluing on a quality piece like your new addition certainly leaves me wanting.

I have that one's twin; a 1976 3" RB chief. It is my most carried piece. Great revolvers.

With a cylinder turn line like that I'm almost thinking that it was only test fired at the factory. Or if it WAS fired at all by owners then it has seen precious few rounds through it. Hell, I'll bet it even still has that "new gun smell"

Very nice, I'm partial to three inch revolvers, almost perfect for me in fact. They carry well on the belt or inside the waistband and the barrel length suits my eyes and the way I see the sights.
