FedEx dropped off a package for me today containing the 10 Pmags that I had ordered from Brownells in late December.:neener:

Now, all I need is the Tapco AK mags from them!

I really appreciate that they are shipping things as they get them in stock.

Once all this madness settles down, I will continue to order from them when it is significantly more economical than buying from my LGS.
(I can't say the same thing about some of the other similar companies.)

I just wanted to post this to help keep people's spirits up and let them know that certain companies are working hard to get there supplies to them.

Do not give up!




Has anyone else received any of their backordered supplies from anywhere?:confused
 
I'm still waiting on a case of GP11 from Classic. Two weeks now. Their site says "two to three delay" however, so, its not unexpected.
 
I just clicked the link and they are sold out of almost everything. I do like that they put all the instock items at the top of pages.
 
I order a few mags from Ammunition Storage Components LLC about a month ago. Still no word...
 
I picked up a couple Tapco AK mags today at my LGS... ~$20 per and they had a bunch.

They had PMC 40S&W in-stock for $14 /box as well as 9MM for a bit less. Certainly better than the $20 /box or more I was seeing last week.
 
I got 4 30rnd AR Pmags from Botach in the mail yesterday that I won on GunBroker 12-17. I paid $14.99 ea shipped and when they didn't arrive after 2 weeks I figured I'd never see them. I did some searching on Botach and found a distrubing number of complaints. All I can say is they did right by me and I would order from them again. The same day I ordered these I ordered a couple of steel mags from Brownells for $13.99 ea and they arrived a week ago. Stuff is out there and can be had if you are patient - you can recognize the fellow who paid $60.00 for the 30 round Pmag by the hook in his mouth.

That's not bad - I ordered about 10 Pmags in mid-November (from Botach) and they didn't arrive until yesterday. But they arrived. :)
 
I have gotten a Choate 10/22 folder and some other assorted stuff from Midway as it has come in. I also know someone who ordered some BX25's from Ruger in late December and they arrived about three weeks later. Stuff is shipping... Just takes a little while.

I just got notification from Brownell's yesterday that part of my order was shipped from mid December. I ordered one 30 rd PMag and some 20 rd as well. The 30 was being sent. They cancelled my 20 rd ones stating that the manufacturer changed the SKU and that I could order the new SKU (yeah right, no longer accepting back orders).
I take this as a tactic for Brownell's to get out of the thousands of mags that were sold at sale prices and charge more for the ones now with the insane damand. I also love how their website claims backorders would not be cancelled. Bad move by them in my book. What are the chances I will be able to get some mags now? Very disappointed.
 
I ordered 10 pmags from DSG on 27 Dec - they delivered in about 3 weeks - great vendor

They still offer back ordering on some/most items.

My buddy runs a surplus store, and he got about 50 used GI mags in, and gives close friends discounted first dibs. I'm picking up a pair for $10 each, and still have a couple back ordered. Now if I could just find the ammo to fill them. :rolleyes:
