O that's cool! Reminds me of the browning bxr line, browning compacted copper fragments into their ballistic tips to disintigrate on impact and open the HP up faster, they ARE more explosive than a regular hunting ballistic tip, but I can't find any one who makes a TRUE sinter tip for reloading, if my .22-250 had a faster twist, (1:9) I'd definitely pick up the sinterfire bullets lol!
Horsey, I believe my wishes came true about a RL15 bughole. Below I will attach 1st LD outing targets

All loads 55 grain Nosler Varmageddon, GMM 210 LR primer, Hornady brass, COL 2.352... brass is new; albeit has been FL resized and trimmed to length before first loading. I will do a 5 shot load confirmation of RL 15, 34.4 and share. image1.JPG image2.JPG image3.JPG

Very nice, how does that compare thus far with the Winchester ammo? Better? Same?
I cannot absolutely make a confirmation as of yet. I have done work on the trigger, which in and of itself will make the rifle perform better than it did when I first shot the factory ammo test. The pull at that time was at least 5# and all my other rifle's or I guess I should say my other rifle triggers are of the performance genre. I have since put a Rifle Basix OEM sear and a new trigger spring; consequently, resulting in the trigger now breaking at 22oz. Concerning the factory ammo test I shot 7 rounds and the first three did not hit in the same place. The line was from 11 oclock to 4 oclock with the first top left, then middle, then bottom right. After that I placed four more shots in the middle hole with a outside diameter around .6ish so the average of those if you subtract the dia. of one bullet would be .4ish. However, the extreme spread of all 7 would be 1.7ish, but that was with no barrel fouling and a hard trigger. The way I figure, is I can contribute at least one bad shot to me and the trigger and the other bad shot to not fouling the barrel. Considering this what you have left are the 5 in the same place which is where basis comes from. However you figure it I believe the Reloader 15 with 34.4 grains and a 3 shot spread of .266 far exceeds that of the accuracy of the factory load. But I still have to confirm the load which I feel is just a formality since all the other groups are crazy good considering a .3 difference in charge weight. I let you know the results with photo's. So there you have it; all the info. now its up to individual interpretation....LOL

IMG_0268.JPG IMG_0267.JPG IMG_0266.JPG IMG_0265.JPG IMG_0264.JPG IMG_0263.JPG Well I put a new Vortex Viper 6-24x50 ffp on my rifle. sighted in shot some groups with somewhat ambiguous results. The 34.4 that shot so well last time made a .800 vericle string. I will say it was 15 degrees warmer and 7-15 wind. I did compare the two like you asked and they both shot the exact same group...lol. However, I loaded .1 up and down and the 34.3 shot a .400 5 shot group. Another thing is last time I was trying to establish a range so I only shot 3 rounds. You know as wellas I those extra 2 make a difference. Ill confirm the 34.3 and maybe play with seating depth, but they are already outperforming tha factory loads . I do like it right though...lol

Very nice!! Looks like you're finding the sweet spot, if you can keep repeating that you'll be sitting pretty decent indeed!!
ETA, vertical stringing could be shooter induced....if 34.3 was that good I would say 34.4 might have been lax shooting positions? I've had it happen myself from time to time when I'm being just a bit lazier than I'd like to admit until AFTER I check the target and see my mistakes. Usually if 34.3 is good 34.2&34.4 should be as well.

I agree there should be closer uniformity; however, I had to get used to the FFP scope because it changed my reticle size. This is the first scope in FFP so there is a margin of familiarity. When I spend long days at the range I used to use clear safety glasses with the left eye blacked out to help with the scope eye. After prolonged period of shutting my left eye it becomes blurred and I have somewhat double vision. I use the glasses to help with this difficulty, but I now wear prescription glasses and I had some kind of weird parallax with the two together. I ended up at the end of the day using a insertable pair of plastic lenses that I got last Tue. from my eye doctor when she dilated my eyes. I doubled the two eye pieces then taped them together and then just laid them inside my glasses on the left side. This works very well and it allows me to keep both eyes open without all the weird parallax. The temperature was 15 to 20 degrees warmer at the end of the day from when I started and then the wind played some part but as usual no one knows for sure that variable. All this explains my statement, "with somewhat ambiguous results,"..LOL I did realize a couple of shots I pulled off or for sure one the last one on the left in the 34.5 group. Thanks for your insight my brother I ll update with the next outing.
