Recoil pad for Savage

Has anyone tried changing the recoil pad on one of the newer Savage synthetic stocks. Specifically to one of the Sims/ limbsaver pads. I have seen them for the wood stocked guns but not the plastic ones. It is a model 11 7mm-08, the stock pad is kinda thin. It is an accutrigger gun also. Thanks.

there was an old thread here where someone was showing off their new Savage and another person posted a pic of theirs with a really nice recoil pad. Made the rifle look so much cleaner.
